On 09 December 2018, CTET 2018 exam will be conducted. Teacher Eligibility Test is consists of two papers that are Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for the candidates who have applied for the Primary level stage and the Paper 2 is for the candidates who have applied for the Upper primary level examination.
Before appearing in the examination candidates should go through and solve the previous year question papers. By giving the CTET Mock Test 2018 candidates can do the revision and can also estimate that in which subject he/she needs to concentrate more. The mode of the CTET exam is offline which means pen and paper based examination will be conducted. Paper 1 is for the candidates who want to teach the class I to class V students and Paper 2 is for the candidates who want to teach the class VI to class VIII students. The duration of the exam will be of 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.
In Paper 1 of CTET 2018 total, 150 question will be asked. The primary level examination will contain the question from total 05 subjects namely; Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language – II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies. For each correct answer, 01 marks will be awarded. There will no negative marking for the incorrect answers.
Paper 2 will consist of a total 150 questions. The language of the paper will be Bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi. The Upper primary level examination will contain the question from total 05 subjects namely; Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language – II, Mathematics & Science, Social Studies/Social Sciences. There will be no negative marking. For each correct answer, 1 marks will be awarded.
In total 36 state and 92 cities of India CTET 2018 examination will be conducted. The CTET Admit Card has been issued on November 22, 2018. On the day of the examination, candidates need to carry a hard copy of the admit card and one valid photo Id proof (pan card, aadhar card, passport, voter id card, Driving Licence etc).
After successful conduction of the examination, CTET Answer Key 2018 will be released at the official website. The cutoff of CTET 2018 is 60%. Candidates who will score 60% marks or more will be considered as qualified candidates and those will be given the CTET eligibility certificate.
CTET Result 2018 will be declared by the CBSE. Within the 06 weeks from the exam date, the result will be announced.
