The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject and shift-wise schedule for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test or CSIR NET 2022. Candidates who will be appearing for the examinations from January 29, 2022 onwards can now check the timetable from the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in. The examination will be conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode.

The notification regarding the availability of admit cards will be released in due time. Candidates will be able to check the same from either csirnet.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in. Meanwhile, here is the complete schedule for CSIR NET 2022.

Timings
The first shift of the examination will be held from 9 AM to 12 Noon while the second shift is going to take place from 3 PM to 6 PM. Both shifts of CSIR NET 2022 will be held for a duration of 03 hours without any break. However, candidates are advised to report at the examination centres at least two hours prior to the commencement of each shift. Please note that candidates will not be allowed to enter after 8 AM in the first shift and after 2 PM in the second shift. No candidate will be permitted to leave the examination halls before the conclusion of the exam.

Necessary details regarding the examination shift, date and subject will be indicated in the admit cards. Once the CSIR NET 2022 admit card is released, candidates have to download the same from the official website and crosscheck the details furnished in it.
Important Instructions
On the examination day, the candidates should mandatorily bring a printed copy of the admit cards. Along with that, they have to carry one passport-size photo that needs to be pasted on the attendance sheet. The examinee should carry a government-authorized original photo ID proof such as a PAN card, driving license, ration card, etc. to appear for CSIR NET 2022. Candidates claiming reservation under the PWD category must produce relevant certificates.
- Examinees will not be allowed to carry any baggage inside the examination centres.
- They should be seated as per the allotted seats in the examination halls.
- One must adhere to the necessary COVID-19 instructions.
- All sorts of calculations and writings have to be done in the provided rough sheet.
