CLAT Admit Card 2021 Releasing Today For All Except Northeast States; Release Time, Download Link Details Explained

CLAT Admit Card 2021 Today

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) will release today, on July 14, 2021, the admit cards of the CLAT 2021 admission test. The admit card will be released on the official website of Consortium i.e consortiumofnlus.ac.in, for all except for northeast states, which shall follow soon.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 will be held on July 23, 2021, for UG & PG courses. Law aspirants who have applied for the exam will be able to download their admit card from the official link of CLAT 2021 admit card login.

The time at which CLAT 2021 admit card will be released is expected to be after 11 am. Last year, the hall ticket was issued at around 11:30 am on the release date.

The download link is anticipated to be the same as the login link, which is already active. However once logged in, a separate admit card ownload link should appear only when the hall ticket is processed. The process to download the hall ticket will be completely online.

In order to download CLAT 2021 admit card, candidates need to go to the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Then click the link ‘click here’ under the text ‘for details about CLAT 2021’. On the next page, login form opens. Enter mobile number and password in order to login to CLAT account. Thereafter they will have to click on the download admit card button.

The admit card will contain information like candidate’s roll number, centre details and application number. It will also contain a set of guidelines that all students must follow before and while appearing for the examination.

Once the CLAT admit card is downloaded, candidates are required to carry a printout of the same. The candidate should keep their admit card and ID proof ready for verification at the gate of the entrance of the centre. Further, the bar code scanning will be done inside the test centre.

CNLUs have also set up a help desk for the admission aspirants. For any assistance, they can reach out to the Consortium of NLUs at email: [email protected] and phone: 080-47162020 between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working days.

While calling a meeting of the general body of the CNLUs on June 12, it was decided that CLAT 2021 will be held on July 23, 2021 (Friday) between 2 pm to 4 pm for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It was also decided that the CLAT 2021 will be a pen and paper exam conducted at Centres observing all COVID 19 safety protocols.

According to the overview drafted by the CNLUs, the UG-CLAT 2021 shall be a two-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice type questions carrying 1 mark each. These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects – English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Technique. A negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer is also proposed.

Last year CLAT 2020 exam was conducted on September 28. Admit cards for the examination were released thirteen days before the exam i.e. on September 15, 2020 in early afternoon.
