DHSE Kerala / Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan has declared the Kerala SSLC result 2021. Education minister V. Sivankutty held the press conference today, on July 14, 2021, at 2 PM. A total of 99.47% students have passed. Kannur district has the highest pass percentage of 99.85%. While Malappuram has highest number of students with A+ grade. Kerala is one of the few states where board exams were held. The class 10 exams took place in April, where 4.2 lakh students appeared for the exam at 2947 centres, that included 9 exam centers in the Gulf, Lakhadweep.

Kerala SSLC Exam Result 2021: 98.82% Students Had Passed Last Year, Will Numbers Decrease Due To Online Classes?
- Last year, a total of 98.82% students had passed.
- Of the 4.22 lakh that had appeared, 41,906 students got A+ grade.
- The number of schools that got 100% pass result were 631 govt schools, 796 private schools, and 404 unaided schools.
This year, like last, was marred by the pandemic. Both last year and this year’s batch took the exam under similar conditions. However this year’s test takers had studied largely by online classes. Whether this will negatively impact the scores, remains to be seen.

Kerala SSLC Exam Result 2021: 4.22 Lakh Students Had Appeared for Exam
Kerala Department of Higher Secondary Education had conducted the class 10th exams in April. A total of 4,22,226 students had appeared. Besides this count of regular students, a total of 990 private candidates also appeared for the 10th class exams this year.

Kerala SSLC Exam Result 2021: 10th result as per 9-point grading scale, D and below to appear in SAY exams
The grading system in SSLC result is based on a 9-point grading system. The highest value is 9, and lowest is 1. The 9 points are A+, A, B+, B, C+, C, D+, D, E.
Those who get D or below will have to appear in the SAY (Save a Year) exam.

SSLC stands for Secondary School Leaving Certificate. The board also publishes results for THSLC, THSLC (Hearing Impaired), SSLC (Hearing Impaired) and AHSLC exams along with SSLC results.
After the SSLC results, the board organizes improvement exams for relevant students. The SSLC SAY exams are held for students who do not get sufficient marks in their exams. The results of improvement, supplementary exams are declared later on, in the same manner as the SSLC results.
