Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the merit list for the State Service Examination 2019. Candidates can access the merit list on the official website psc.cg.gov.in. According to the official merit list, Neer Nidhi Nandeha has achieved rank 1 in the exam with a score of 988 marks out of 1000. The state recruitment process is comprised of three stages – preliminary exam, mains exam and interview round. Candidates who got shortlisted for the first two rounds were called for the interview from September 02 to 17, 2021.
As per official records, a total of 732 candidates were shortlisted for the interview round out of which 730 appeared for the session at their allotted timings. 2 candidates were absent during the third round. Thus, the selection and merit list details of 730 candidates has been published on the official portal. The two absentees have also been included at the bottom of the list based on their performance in the CGPSC IAS 2019 mains exam.

Authorities have curated the CGPSC IAS 2019 final merit list based on the candidates’ performance in the written exam as well as interview round. However, this is just a provisional list and a candidate will be permanently recruited only after successful document verification. Claims such as name, education qualifications, date of birth, category, etc, must be justified before the authorities to confirm a place in the commission.
As per the official notification, aspirants who have scored 33% or above in the State Service Main Examination were eligible for the final selection process. This ruling is applicable for candidates belonging to the unreserved categories. In the case of candidates from reserved categories, a minimum of 23% marks are required to be eligible. Only then, they will be eligible for the allotment process.
Candidates must bear in mind that this is just the merit list a final selection list will be released soon after. The CGPSC IAS 2019 selection list will mention the names of shortlisted candidates and the respective posts allotted to them. CGPSC authorities will be allotting posts to eligible aspirants based on aspects like priority, category and merit. This list will also be made available on the official website psc.cg.gov.in in due course of time.
