Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) successfully conducted the Chhattisgarh Teachers Eligibility Test (CG TET) 2022 exam today January 09, 2022. This was the CG TET 2020-21 exam.
The exam was held in 14 districts at multiple affiliate centers across the state. CG TET exam was conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and 2 respectively. First session for paper 1 examination was conducted as per the schedule from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm respectively. Similarly CG TET 2022 paper 2 exam was conducted for 2 hours 45minutes from 2.00 pm to 4.45 pm respectively.
A total of 150 questions were framed for 1 mark each in both paper 1 and paper 2 of the CG TET 2022 examination. Objective type questions with one correct answer out of four available options were asked in the exam. 30 questions each from Mathematics, Hindi, English, Environmental Studies and Child Development + Pedagogy were framed in the paper 1 examination. Similarly, 30 questions each from Hindi, English, Child Development + Pedagogy and 60 from Social Studies/ Mathematics – Science were framed in the paper 2 examination. Marking scheme of CG TET 2022 exam is the same as that of other state’s TET : +1 mark for every correct answer whereas 0 mark for every unattempted question and incorrect answers.
CG TET 2022 Provisional Answer Key
CG TET 2022 exam was objective in nature. Candidates appearing for the exam are eagerly waiting for the answer keys to calculate their scores obtained in the exam. CGPEB releases provisional and final answer keys on its official website at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. However, the board will take a while before publishing the answer keys on its official website.
As per previous trends, the official answer keys are expected to be released a week after the examination was conducted. Soon after the release of provisional answer keys, applications will be invited to raise objections against the answer key. Applicants can post their suggestion or raise an objection supported with a genuine proof on the official website of CGPEB once the provisional answer key is released.
CG TET 2022 Unofficial answer key
Candidates looking for CG TET 2022 exam answer key immediately after the exam are advised to refer to the unofficial answer keys posted by various subject experts online. Applicants must note that these answer keys are unofficial and may differ from the official one posted by CGPEB. However looking at past results the probability of differing is quite low and the unofficial answer keys can be used to calculate the scores to a greater extent.
Teachers and subject experts post the answer keys in the form of pdf or by uploading answer key videos at various social media platforms across the internet. YouTube is one such viable option where candidates can easily search the unofficial answer keys soon after the examination is conducted. Some creators tag the pdf file in the description box of their respective YouTube video. Candidates must access those files to easily calculate the CG TET 2022 score.
CG TET 2022 Qualifying Marks
In order to shortlist candidates in CG TET 2022 exam CGPEB follows general criteria as followed by other states in their respective TET exam. General category candidates must score 60% or above (90 marks or above) in their respective paper, to qualify the exam. Candidates falling under OBC category must score 50% or more (75 marks or more) in order to qualify the exam. Similarly SC/ST/PwD candidates are required to score 40% or more (60 marks or more) in their respective CG TET 2022 exam.
To avail the concession in marks candidates must submit their respective Non creamy layer certificate during the time of verification. If any candidate fails to do so, he/she may not be able to avail the concession.
CG TET 2022 Result
CGPEB is preparing to conduct a few events which are mandatory to release the results. After successful conduction of all the events, results will be calculated using computerized marking technique. All these processes will take a few weeks after the exam is conducted. Hence CG TET 2022 results can be expected to be released in the third week of February, 2022. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of CGPEB for future updates. Applicants will be shortlisted based on the qualifying criteria mentioned above. Score card and merit lists will be posted simultaneously along with the release of results.
