Central Railway of India is inviting applications for the engagement of Contract Medical Practitioners in Dr. B.A.M Hospital, Byculla (Zonal Hospital). A detailed recruitment notification published in this regard is available at the website cr.indianrailways.gov.in. As per the notification number P/CR/HQ/E-GAZ/269-1/6/2020/COVID 19, dated 16/07/2020, there are 18 vacancies available for different medical posts in the aforementioned institution. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the contractual recruitment must do so before Jul 25, 2020. Only online applications forwarded to the specified email ID are accepted.
The advertised vacancies are bifurcated across various medical posts. There are 04 openings for the post of Physicians, 04 vacancies for the post of Anaesthetist/Intensivists and 10 vacancies for the post of GDMO (MBBS). Eligible applicants are selected through a prescribed medical examination and document verification. Upon final selection, the successful applicants are appointed to the respective posts for a contractual period of 03 months. During this period, candidates are compensated with monthly consolidated payment. CMP (GDMO) MBBS Doctor post holders are entitled to a payment of Rs 75000. Physicians and Anesthetists/Intensivists are entitled to a payment of Rs 95000.
Applicants must meet the specified eligibility conditions to apply for the aforementioned vacancies. In order to apply for the post of GDMO, candidates must an MBBS degree recognized by the MCI as per specifications. In addition, such candidates must have completed the compulsory rotating internship. Those who wish to apply for the Specialist posts must have an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and a Post Graduate qualification in the relevant subject/field recognized by the MCI. In addition, such applicants must desirably have minimum experience of 03 years in Clinical work following their post graduation in the concerned specialty. The age of the applicants must not be more than 53 years as on 01/08/2020. SC/ST & ESM candidates can avail an age relaxation up to 05 years while OBC candidates can avail up to 03 years.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format only from candidates fulfilling all the essential eligibility conditions. The applications must be forwarded to the email ID [email protected] on or before the aforementioned last date of application. The application form must be accompanied with scanned copies of supporting documents/certificates/testimonials. The date of the interview is to be intimated later on and candidates must original certificates and their attested copies during the time of document verification and joining. Candidates must note that Indian Railways does not provide any accommodation, pass, r PTO. In case of doubt in the document verification, the next candidates on the waiting list are called for joining.
