All applicants must have passed Class 10th exam with 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates the minimum marks is 45% in aggregate in Class 10. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on January 20, 2021 in order to apply for engagement. However, for candidates belonging to special reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC-NCL), relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable as per government norms in vogue. Candidates must note that those who have already completed or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
Selection of the eligible candidates is to be done purely on the basis of merit. Upon selection, candidates are to be appointed in stipended training. Candidates must note that there is no obligation toward CCI to provide permanent employment in the organisation after the completion of training. Therefore, they cannot make any such claims after the training period is over.
