As per the student’s reviews, it has been investigated that the CDS 1 English paper level was quite difficult. The English paper was held on February 03, 2019 from 09:00 a.m to 11:00 p.m. The question paper was quite lengthy. In the paper topics related to synonyms, antonyms, comprehension, ordering of sentences, ordering of word in sentences etc were asked.
Applicants face the quite difficulty in solving the Synonyms and antonyms questions as the questions were quite hard. The ordering of sentences was easy and reading comprehensions question level was moderate to difficult. Some of the questions were time taking in solving as those questions were difficult.
In the paper, 120 questions of 100 marks were asked. Each question was carrying 5/6 marks. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks from the assigned marks. For the unattended (answer not given for a question) question, there will be no negative marking but if the candidates have attempted the question and marked 2 answers for a question then there will be negative marking of 1/3 marks.
After the examination, many unofficial bodies will release the CDS 1 Answer Key 2019. The unofficial answer key will be made available on Facebook and YouTube. From the answer key candidates can predict their chance of qualifying the examination.
After the successful conduction of the examination, UPSC will release the CDS 1 Result 2019 at the official website i.e. upsc.nic.in. It has been estimated that around one and a half month from the written examination date the result usually declared by the UPSC. The result will contain the name and roll number of the qualified candidates.
After a few days later from the examination declaration date of the result, official CDS 1 Answer Key 2019 will be released by the UPSC at the official website. The answer key will be useful for those applicants who will appear in the upcoming CDS examination.
About CDS – Union public service commission (UPSC) Conducts the Combined defense service(CDS) examination. CDS Examination conducted twice in the year usually once in the month of February and another in the month of November. The candidates who apply for CDS those will be selected on the basis of written exam (English, G.K, and Maths) and SSB (Stage 1 and Stage 2). The candidates who qualify the SSB those will be finally called for the medical test. Qualifiers of the medical test will be finally selected for the applied post.
