National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is conducting examination for Digital Literacy Course (DLC) programs CCC, BCC, CCC Plus, ECC from November 15, 2018, to November 20, 2018. For the same, enrolled students can download admit card from November 09, 2018. Students need to visit student.nielit.gov.in and login with application number, date of birth to download it.
Upon visiting student.nielit.gov.in, one can see link called ‘Download Admit Card’ which has to be clicked. This leads to a page containing list of all courses that lead to their admit card download pages. So for instance one who wants to download NIELIT CCC Admit Card 2018 needs to click the CCC link, one who wants for BCC should click BCC link and so an and so forth.
NIELIT Admit Card download page first asks a student to select examination year, then examination name. In examination name one has to select November 2018. If November 2018 option is not appearing in the drop down then that means that admit card has not yet been issued for that course for NIELIT November 2018 exam and he/she should try again in some time.
The admit card contains roll number, name, mother name, father name, exam centre code, exam date, exam centre address, batch, exam time, exam duration.
No one is issued CCC admit card by mail or any other mode. Therefore students must visit the official website and download their individual hall tickets as per schedule so that they can appear in exam. Without it, candidates are not allowed to enter hall to sit for exam.
After downloading admit card, students should check that all details in admit card are correct and verifiable. A print out of the same should be taken to exam centre on day of exam. At centre, student is required to sign and place thumb impression at required places when asked for.
As per the new restructuring of examination cycles, now exam for DLCs will be held 10 times only in the months of February, March, April, May, June, August, September, October, November, December.
CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) is an 80 hours course and it is the most popular of NIELIT courses under its Digital Literacy Programmes. ECC (Expert Computer Course) is of 200 hours, CCC Plus (Course on Computer Concepts Plus) is of 126 hours, BCC (Basic Computer Course) is of 36 hours.
There are 100 objective type questions in CCC exam. One who gets at least 50% is awarded a CCC certificate. BCC exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions. Getting 40% in it makes one eligible to get a certificate.
Ideally, the CCC Result November 2018 examination shall be announced 15 days after exam. Thus, candidates should expect the same in first week of December 2018. By the same token, result of NIELIT CCC / BCC / CCC Plus / ECC should be out in next week.
