Another major subject exam was conducted today, December 21, 2021, for the CBSE Class 12 students, as part of the Term I exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the Informatics Practices paper. The exam was held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm through the offline mode at affiliated schools across the country. With just 90 minutes in hand, a student was expected to attempt at least 45 questions out of the total 55. These were all objective-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with single correct options.
Now that the CBSE Class 12 Informatics Practices 2021-22 paper is over, students are incessantly searching for the answer key. CBSE will be releasing the official answer key on cbse.nic.in, in due course of time. In the meantime, students can make use of the answer keys given below, which have been curated by teachers and subject experts:
The CBSE Class 12 Informatics Practices 2021-22 exam was conducted for a total of 35 marks. Since there was no negative marking for incorrect or unanswered questions, a student had the liberty of attempting the entire paper. Moreover, by attempting more than 45 MCQs, the likelihood of scoring 35 on 35 marks also increases.
Another advantage of today’s CBSE Class 12 Informatics Practices 2021-22 exam was the limited syllabus. This year, CBSE decided to retain the reduced syllabus devised in 2020. So, students are expected to learn only 70% of the syllabus during the current academic year. Moreover, this syllabus has been equally bifurcated into two terms – Term I and Term II. So effectively, students had to only learn 35% of the portion. Invariably, a student’s thorough preparation of Informatics Practices is sure to reflect in his/her exam performance.
