Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Kochi has released the official notification for Apprentice Recruitment Drive 2021. BPCL has released the application forms on the official website i.e. bharatpetroleum.in. The recruitment drive will be conducted for Graduate Diploma holders. There are a total of 120 vacancies for Graduate Apprentices and 48 vacancies for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices. The last date to fill and submit the application form is July 25, 2021, whereas last date to enroll at NATS portal is July 20, 2021.
Candidates who have already enrolled on the NATS portal can directly apply for the BPCL Recruitment Drive through their login credentials. The candidates who have not enrolled on the NATS portal will have to first enroll on mhrdnats.gov.in. After the verification of their enrollment, candidates can apply to the recruitment drive by filling in the necessary details and uploading the resume.
BPCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021 Detailed Notification
The candidates who are applying under OBC/SC/ST/PWD will have to provide the category certificate as per the prescribed format. The candidates who will fail to provide the category certificate will be treated under the ‘General’ category. To get eligible for BPCL Apprentice Recruitment Drive 2021, the maximum age of candidates should be 27 years and the minimum age should be 18 years. The candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship period of 1 year or currently undergoing are not eligible for this recruitment drive.
Candidates who are willing to apply for the Graduate Apprentices post should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the respective discipline. To apply for the Technician (Diploma) Apprentices post, candidates should have passed a Diploma in the respective discipline. The minimum passing marks for General and OBC category candidates are 60% and for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the passing marks are 50%. The selection of the candidates will be made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and the interview. Post selection, the candidates will receive Rs. 25,000 per month as a stipend for the post of Graduate Apprentice and Rs. 18,000 per month for the Technician (Diploma) Apprentice post. Once the exam is over, the list of qualifying candidates who will get shortlisted for the interview round will be published on the official website. The candidates who are employed with any of the Government or Public Sector companies will have to provide NOC during their interview.
After final selection, the candidates will go for apprenticeship training for one year. The location of training for Graduate Apprentices and Technician (Diploma) apprentices is BPCL Kochi Refinery at Ambalamugal in Kochi. The total number of vacancies may also increase or decrease as per the company policy. The management of BPCL has all rights to call only those candidates who are suitable according to them for the interview.
