From the drop-down menu, the candidates would find the B.ed tab.
There are almost 212 institutions that provide the teacher training knowledge to the candidates. It will be mandatory for these institutions to conduct the CET examination to check the eligibility of the candidates before giving admissions for the session 2018-2020 and onwards.
This decision that made CET mandatory for admissions to B.ed courses was taken at the Raj Bhavan at the Vice Chancellors meeting under the chairmanship of the Governor cum Chancellor Mr. Satya Pal Malik.
As decided by the University, a team of the official of Raj Bhavan will make a visit to various teacher training Institutions across Bihar and make them aware about the norms that have been formulated for the B.ed admissions. A special examination conducting team shall have to be formulated in the Institutions.
There is a continuous search going on for the agencies that can check the proper structure and conduction of examinations in a fair manner. The examination will be the first ever state-level CET for B.ed admissions.
There shall only be a limited number of seats at the institutions for the B.ed course and thus it is expected that there will be a tough competition among the candidates to secure a seat. The admissions shall strictly be on the basis of merit. The eligible candidates will have their names on the merit list and then they can visit the allotted institution to begin the education. The B.ed course shall be for a time period of 2 years.
Many applauses for the Chancellors Secretariat since the maximum fee amount to be charged by the candidates have already been decided which in a way describes the dedication of the committee towards this decision. The fee has been decided in coordination with the State Government.
Also, in order to keep up with the government’s decisions of Linking Aadhar, the Raj Bhavan has already directed the Universities to link their Salary accounts with their Aadhar number for the teachers serving in different Institutions. The payments to the teachers serving in the institutions affiliated to the Bihar University shall only be made through the accounts that are linked to the Aadhar Card.
