All over the web and print media, the reports of Punjab Class 12th Result declaration are being circulated. While the newspaper like IndianExpress and Times of India have announced the pass percentage, topper details, etc. Students across the state are frantically searching for their result which is not available at the official website, i.e. http://www.pseb.ac.in.
Then how does the newspapers know the details of Punjab Class 12th Result?
Well, in a press meeting, the officials announced the details of topper and statistics of the Punjab Class 12th result. That is how all the newspapers know it. The Board is yet to upload the result online. The students are requested not to panic, it will be soon available at http://www.pseb.ac.in.
In order to check the result, the candidates will have to go www.pseb.ac.in or indiaresults.com. Then, in the required space, the candidates will have to enter Name or Roll Number. Click on the submit button and check the result. The result will state the subject-wise and overall marks in the exam.
As per the ongoing reports, the examination has been topper by Puja Joshi. She has secured 98% in the academic category, while the topper of sports category is Prachi Gaur from Ludhiana who has secured 100%. The second and third rankers are Vivek Joshi and Jasnoor Kaur, respectively.
This year, the girls have performed better than the boys. The overall pass percentage is 65.97 and it is higher than last year’s. For commerce stream, 31,364 students appeared for the exam and out of it 26,643 have passed. In arts, 2,12,945 appeared and 13,8,643 passed and in the science streams, out of 55,976 only 32,907 students passed.
