Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is looking for the Junior Research Fellow in Physical, Chemical and Biological Sciences. An official notification in this regard is also released recently on the official website of BARC, recruit.barc.gov.in. As per the advertisement, BARC has announced 105 vacancies for BARC JRF recruitment. The BARC online registrations will start from December 18, 2021 onwards. Applicants who are interested in the recruitment can submit their applications for BARC Recruitment before January 15, 2021.
The post of Junior Research Fellowship is announced under the discipline of Physical, Chemical Sciences and Biological Sciences. Applicants who are applying for BARC JRF recruitment are advised to first refer to the research projects in science disciplines.
BARC JRF Recruitment 2020 Detailed Notification
BARC will be conducting an interview round to shortlist candidates for the JRF recruitment. Only those candidates who have appeared and qualified at least one of the following exam are shortlisted -UGC-CSIR-NET Fellowship/ JEST score/ ICMR-JRF Test, ICAR-JRF Test/ DBT-JRB Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ GATE Score 2019/2020 in Physics / Chemistry / Life Sciences / Biotechnology. First candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the previous academic records of applicants. Then, their performance in the qualifying examination is considered to be shortlisted for interview.
To apply for BARC recruitment, candidates must have secured minimum of 60% marks in B.Sc and 55% in M.Sc. Those who have completed and awaiting the final marks of MSc degree are also eligible to apply for BARC recruitment. Candidates with 05 years integrated M.Sc degree should have a minimum 55% aggregate marks in NM.Sc/ BS-MS dual degree.
While applying, aspirants are suggested to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates should not be less than that of 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable up to 03 years for OBC candidates, 05 years for SC/ ST and 10 years for Persons with Disability. Moreover, applicants should have a 10th certificate as a proof of date of birth.

It includes passport size photograph, educational qualifications, email id and mobile number. They have to upload SSC/H.Sc./ B.Sc./ M.Sc. Mark sheets and Degree certificate/ Valid qualifying exam scorecard, caste certificate (if applicable).
Applicants are also required to pay the application fee as suggested in the BARC recruitment notification. They have to make a payment of Rs. 500/- through online mode. Application fee is exempted for Women/ SC/ ST/ Person with Disabilities. It is only after the submission of application fee that application number is successfully generated.
