Anna University, Institute of Remote sensing and CEG Campus, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Project Staff. An official notification with Ref: Advertisement No.001/2020 /IRS/TemporaryProjectStaff is also published recently online at annauniv.edu. The conducting body advertised 22 vacancies for the Project Staff posts. Eligible and intending candidates can apply via offline mode before the last date which is December 22, 2020.
As per the notification, the post of Project Staff is announced under 04 different projects. The first project is Monitoring of IWMP watersheds in Tamilnadu watersheds in Tamilnadu Technology. The second project is Space-based Information Support for Decentralised Planning at Panchayat level. Anna University’s third project is information of the Geographical Information System (GIS) Cell. The fourth project is Preparation of Local Level CZMP in 1:5000 scale as perCRZ notification 2011. All these projects will be carried out in the Institute of Remote sensing, Anna University, Chennai-600 025.

The post under these projects is announced purely on a temporary basis. Applicants who are recruited as Project Associate get a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000/- or Rs. 37,000/- (depending upon the project). Those who are appointed as Project Scientist are paid Rs. 70,000/- as the monthly remuneration. For the post of Project Technician, the monthly salary is Rs. 15000/-.
