The State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam (SLPRB) has released the results from the PST/PET exams on the official SLPRB website on January 20, 2022. Along with the results, SLPRB has also released cutoff lists based on which candidates can be deemed as qualified or not.
These examinations are being conducted to fill up 6662 vacancies which are divided into 2391 UB (Unarmed Branch) Constable and 4271 AB (Armed Branch) Constable.
Candidates who clear the cutoff will be eligible for further rounds and will be named in the merit list.
Aspirants who want to view the cutoff list must visit the official website and follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1. Visit the official SLPRB website by clicking on this link, slprbassam.in.
Step 2. Candidates will be directed to the SLPRB homepage where they can find the link for “Result Portal”. Click on this link.
Step 3. Cutoff links for all PST/PET exams including AB and UB will be displayed. Candidates can click on any of them based on their choice.
Step 4. The cutoff list will automatically display on screen and candidate’s can download it for further reference.

This cutoff list is based on different caste categories and students must follow it based on this. Every year, the cutoff for different categories changes on the basis of the number of candidates appearing and the difficulty of the exam.
Both AB and UB examinations are objective type with MCQs asked from the entire syllabus. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the question paper with each question carrying ½ marks. There shall be no negative markings in both these examinations.
The grand total of the test is 60 marks with 50 marks from the MCQ section and 10 marks from the Extra-Curricular Activities & Special Skills section.
