Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the APPSC Group 2 Question Paper and Answer Key, against which, it is accepting objections until May 16, 2019. It was only last Sunday, May 5, 2019, that the Commission had conducted screening test for Notification No.25/2018, Date.31/12/2018 – Group- II Services.
APPSC Group 2 Answer Key 2019 is a PDF file containing questions asked in exam, followed by options, and answer considered correct by the Commission. As in the exam, so in the initial key, questions are divided in three sections. Section A is qs no 1 to 50 on General Studies & Mental Ability. Then Section B is qs no 51 to 100 on Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh and Indian Constitution. And then finally Section C is qs 101 to 150 on Planning and Economy.
Along with the question paper and answer key, APPSC has provided a format for objections. This is also a PDF file. Candidates need to submit objections using this format only. Any candidate who wishes to submit objections need to fill up objection format with their name, hall ticket number, name of exam, their postal address, mobile number, details of objections. Details of objection require question ID / number as in published answer key of APPSC Group 2, brief description of question, details of objection in no more than 100 words, details of standard reference in support of objection in not more than 100 words. Then they have to submit written objection along with self-attested copy of Hall Ticket. Candidates need to submit a different format sheet for each section.
After receiving objections, APPSC will release a revised answer key. Then once again candidates will be able to submit objections, but this time only against the revised questions and answers. Then finally a final answer key will be released. Result of APPSC Group 2 2019 will be on basis of final answers only. Candidates get 1 mark for every correct answer, and 1/3 mark is deducted for incorrect ones. Maximum marks that can be scored in APPSC Group 2 screening test is 150.
Those who qualify as per result of screening test will be able to download admit card of APPSC Group 2 2019 Mains. A test on proficiency in office automation with usage of computers and associated software will also be held for post code numbers 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27.
Overall 295036 candidates had registered for APPSC Group 2 2019. Then 228263 had downloaded hall tickets. Finally, 177876 had appeared in exam, and 50387 were absent. Next, August 29 and 30, 2019, are exam dates for Main Exam of APPSC Group 2.
