Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the registration portal for Group D and ALP recruitment on March 31, 2018. Class 10 qualifiers, who satisfy the eligibility and have not applied yet must do so without delay. After the due date, the Board will not accept any applications.

RRB ALP & Technician registration began on February 03, whereas, the same for Group D began on February 10, 2018. The registration can only be done online, from the official portals. In the application form, candidates have to enter Aadhaar Number, personal details, education details, address, etc.

Candidates also need to remit application fee. For UR candidates the amount of application fee is Rs. 500. The candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economic Backward Class need to pay Rs. 250 only. The fee amount will be refunded to the candidates when they will appear for the computer based examination. The amount refunded to UR candidates will be Rs. 400, whereas, the reserved category candidates will get back the entire payment.

Those who have already applied should download the confirmation page. It is important to save it, as it might be required in future. Also, do check the application form status as well. If the application form status of your form is negative then do make the necessary corrections.

The modification in RRB application form can also be done only until March 31, 2018. In order to do the modification, the candidates will have to login and mark the changes. The details required to login are registration number and password. When the login opens, click on ‘Modify Application’ and then proceed to pay the application fee. Once the amount of modification has been paid, candidates will be able to edit details in the application form.

Recently, the railway board decreased the amount of RRB Group D and ALP modification from Rs. 250 to Rs. 100. Candidates will have to pay the amount each time they modify, hence, it is advised to first note down all the required changes and then use the correction window. It should be noted that Registration number, e-mail id, and mobile number cannot be changed through the modification facility.

After March 31, RRB will disclose the accepted and rejected applications. The board will only reject the application form if the images uploaded it in are not in the prescribed format. Also, if a candidate has submitted multiple applications, from different RRBs, then also the form will be termed invalid. Other than these, the application form will be rejected if the irregularity is detected in it.

RRB has not announced ALP and Group D exam dates yet. It is expected that the Board will announce the dates for the Computer Based Test in the month of April 2018. The admit card for RRB Group D and the admit card for RRB ALP will be available 10 days before the examination. The candidates will have to download it from the login and the Board will not send it via post.

Hope this post would have been helpful for you. If you still have any questions or queries, comment below. We will try to resolve it as soon as possible.
