AP EAMCET 2018 Admit Card Released: Check instructions for online examination

So the wait is finally over now! The admit card for AP EAMCET 2018 is available for download today, i.e., April 18, 2018. The candidates can download their hall ticket online at its website, http://www.sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet. No candidate will receive their admit card by post. The JNTU Kakinada is conducting the AP EAMCET 2018 for admission April 22-25, 2018, whereas, for admission in Agriculture courses the entrance exam is held on April 25-26, 2018. For those who have opted for Engineering & Agriculture courses, the entrance exam will be held on April 24-25, 2018.

To download the AP EAMCET 2018 Hall Ticket, visit the exam official website at http://www.sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet, click on the Online Application tab and click on “Download AP EAMCET 2018 Hall Ticket”. Then enter your Payment reference id, Registration number, Mobile number, Qualifying examination hall ticket, and Date of birth. Click on “Submit” button. On submitting these details, the admit card will be available on the screen.

It is a mandatory document which you must carry on the day of the examination. It consists of the details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Test Centre Name, Date and Time of examination

Along with the print out of the Hall Ticket, the candidates must carry Filled in Online Application Form with duly affixed recent color photograph attested by Gazetted Officer (or) Principal of the College where the candidate has studied the qualifying examination. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category candidates bring an attested copy of Caste certificate. Also, carry your own Ball Point Pen for rough work.

It is advised to the candidates to report at the assigned exam center 02 hours before the commencement of the test. It is said so because this will enable the candidate to familiarize himself/herself with the online examination.

After the candidates have download their admit card they must ensure that the details printed on it is correct. If there is an error such as your name is misspelled or your Date of Birth is printed incorrect, then report the concerned authorities immediately at:

AP EAMCET 2018 is a 03-hour duration test and the question paper consists of a total of 160 MCQ questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry, for engineering course. While for Agriculture, the question paper will consist of 80 questions in Biology (Botany – 40, Zoology – 40), 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry.

Another reason for the students to smile is that there is no negative marking and no deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for a question.

Egineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. The entrance test is a prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered by Universities/ Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Last year, 1,87,484 number of students appeared for the Engineering Stream, while 75,489 students appeared for Agriculture Stream. Out of which, 1,23,974 candidates qualified in Engg stream and 55,288 stduents qualified in Agriculture stream. 

Tips For Preparation For AP EAMCET

#1. Preparation for any entrance exam need to a lot of hard work and the first step towards success in any field is self-evaluation. For preparing for AP EAMCET 2018 the candidates must identify and analyze their strengths and weaknesses by solving sample papers and taking mock tests.

#2.The candidate should be completely aware of the examination pattern, syllabus and the dates of the exam to avoid surprises on the D-Day.

#3.The candidate should solve as many as previous year question paper possible. Solving the test papers will help you to develop the right mindset for the examination. Also, it will give you an idea about how you should manage your time across different questions and sections.

#4. During the exam try to first attempt the subject you’re most confident in. This ensures that you quickly go through this part of the question paper quickly, and you have enough time to attempt the other two subjects.
