Registration for admission to Undergraduate courses in the Delhi University for this year academic session will start from next week i.e fourth week of April. This year there will be a centralized portal for registration to all courses. The first cut off is expected to be out by the first week of June. As some Boards have already released results and others would be done for same by June. For this reason, the admission for Merit-based courses will continue till June. However, the admission for the Entrance-based exam will be over by the third week of May.
This year the registration for Entrance-based undergraduate programmes will not be done separately. Candidates can register for all courses through a centralized admission portal. This process will allow data to be present in one place and making it easily accessible to the committee. Earlier the registration for entrance-based had a separate registration process that started from the first week of April. Steps were taken to make the process user-friendly. The new format of registration has although delayed the process for two weeks straight.
Some of the state Boards have already started declaring their results. It is expected that by the month of June all the state Boards would be done with results. The DU committee will start the merit-based courses registration process for admission.
Candidates should start filling the registration form as soon as they are out. The process for registration is open for long, therefore, students in case of any queries or issue can contact the DU admission committee. Payment should be done after the issue is resolved before the last date. Candidates can track the number of seats filled and withdrawals in real time for DU admission.
