The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is inviting online applications to conduct entrance tests for DM/M.Ch, MD (Hospital Administration) at AIIMS (New Delhi), PGIMER, NIMHANS, JIPMER and SCTIMST for the upcoming January 2022 session. Online registrations for the said entrance examinations have already begun. Interested candidates have time up to November 12, 2021, to submit the applications. The examination date for the written test has not been announced yet.
This common entrance test has been termed the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS). It will be held twice in the upcoming year. The primary objective behind holding the INI-SS 2022 exam is to prepare a merit list as per the scheme of evaluation or admission applicable at different INIs. This will help in admitting candidates to the super speciality courses at participating Institutes of National Importance. As a result, the allocation of single-seat to each candidate will be based on their overall merit.
To submit an online application, take a look at the steps given below.
Step 1- Visit the online website of AIIMS Exams – aiimsexams.ac.in
Step 2- Click on ‘Online Registration for INI SS for admission to DM/M.Ch, MD (Hospital Administration) Jan 2022 session’
Step 3- Now, press the ‘Click Here’ button under ‘New Registration’
Step 4- Read all the instructions and click on ‘Proceed’
Step 5- Select the course and fill in the candidate’s personal details followed by contact details and address
Step 6- Click on ‘Register’ to get the candidate ID and password
Step 7- Complete filling the application form at the ‘Applicant Login’ section.
The application fee for all applicants is Rs 4250 along with the transaction charges. However, candidates belonging to the PWBD category are exempted from paying the application fee. INI SS 2022 examination will be conducted in two stages. The first stage or Stage 1 of the exam will be applicable to all the participating institutes. This stage will be for a duration of 90 minutes during which candidates have to answer 80 questions comprising 80 marks. The questions will follow an objective pattern of single correct choice questions. For every correct answer, ‘+1’ mark will be awarded while for every incorrect answer, ‘-1/3’ marks will be deducted. Moreover, the qualifying criteria for Stage 1 is 50%. The Stage 2 of INI SS 2022 will be applicable for AIIMS only.
