Today was the last exam day of the AFCAT 2 2021 exam. The Indian Air Force conducted the exam across two shifts from 09.45 AM to 11.45 AM in the morning and from 02.45 PM to 04.45 PM in the afternoon. Besides, the EKT exam of the Indin Air Force for recruitment of technical staff was also conducted in an evening shift from 05.15 PM to 06.00 PM. Shift 1
Difficulty Level
Candidates who took the AFCAT 2 2021 exam in the first shift reported that overall, the question paper was of a moderate difficulty level. In particular, the section on Reasoning & Military Aptitude was of the Easy difficulty level. On the other hand, the sections on Numerical Ability & English Language in the first shift was of the Easy to Moderate difficulty level. General Awareness questions were of a moderate difficulty level.
Important Topics
In the English Language section, the Fill in the Blanks, Antonyms/Synonyms and Cloze Test were the topics that accounted for the highest number of questions. Around 4-6 questions were asked from each of these topics. In Numerical Ability, questions were asked from topics like Profit, Loss & Discount, Ratio, Percentage etc. Questions were also asked from topics like Speed & Distance, Algebra, SI & CI etc.
10 questions were asked from Non-Verbal (Image) in the Reasoning & Military Aptitude section. Questions were also asked from Analogy, Venn Diagram, Coding-Decoding, Odd-one out etc. In General Awareness, the question paper was based on topics like History, Geography, Science, Polity, Current Affairs and Economics.
Good Attempts
Based on the overall level of difficulty and student’s reaction after the exam, it can be envisaged that the overall number of good attempts in the first shift exam can go as high as 70 to 75 questions out of 100. Subject-wise, in General Awareness, the number of good attempts can be in the range of 15 to 17. In Numerical Ability, the number of good attempts can be in the range of 14 to 17 while in the Reasoning section, the number of good attempts can be up to 25 questions out of 32.
Shift 2
Difficulty Level
Similar to the first shift exam, the level of difficulty of the second shift of the AFCAT 2 2021 exam today was of the moderate difficulty level overall. Particularly the sections on English Language and Numerical Ability were of the Easy to Moderate difficulty level. On the other hand, the sections on General Awareness and Reasoning & Military Aptitude were of the moderate difficulty level.
Important Topics
The highest number of questions were asked from the topis on Fill in the blanks, Antonyms/Synonyms and Vocabulary in the English section. Whereas, questions were also asked from topics such as Comprehension, Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases etc. In General Awareness, questions were asked from History, Civics, Environment, Art, Science, Politics, Current Affairs and Sports.
Questions were asked from important topics like Non-Verbal (Image), Venn Diagram, Analogy etc. in the Reasoning and Military Aptitude section. Whereas, in Numerical Ability, the maximum number of questions were asked from topics like Simple Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Time & Distance etc.
Good Attempts
Based on the overall level of difficulty of the shift 2 exams of AFCAT 2 2021, it can be envisaged that the overall number of good attempts can be as high as 65 to 70. Section-wise, in Reasoning and Military Aptitude, the good attempts can go from as high as 23 to 25 out of 32. In English Language and Numerical Ability, the total number of good attempts can go up to 15 50 18 and 10 to 15 respectively. In General Awareness, candidates are expecting the number of good attempts to go as high as 16 to 18.
