The admit card for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT – 02/2021) will be released on the IAF website afcat.cdac.in today. Candidates who have successfully applied for the test will be able to download their admit cards from the same portal. The online examination is all set to be conducted over three days, i.e. August 28, 29 and 30, 2021.
To download the admit card, candidates have to first visit afcat.cdac.in and click on the ‘Candidate Login’ tab. Then, they have to select ‘AFCAT 02/2021 – CYCLE’ which will direct them to the sign-in window. After that, the candidates must enter their email ID, password and captcha. They can now click on the login button to view and download the admit card. Note that the candidates will also receive the admit cards on their registered email IDs. The admit card contains all necessary information like the exam date, centre, timings, guidelines, etc. Candidates must duly check if the personal details printed on the first page of the admit card are same as provided during the registration process.
It is important to note that in case a candidate does not receive their admit card on their registered email IDs or are unable to download the same from the website, they must enquire at the AFCAT Query Cell at C-DAC, Pune. The helpline numbers are 020-25503105 and 020-25503106. However, if a candidate wants to enquire via email, then they do so by sending their queries at [email protected].
In addition to the e-admit cards, candidates must also carry their aadhar card and another photo identity card such as PAN card, passport, driving license, etc to the examination centre. This identity card must contain details like the candidate’s name, photograph, date of birth and father’s name. The candidates must also carry two passport-size coloured photographs. The photographs should be the same as the one that they have uploaded during the online application. Lastly, they must not forget to carry a blue or a black ballpoint pen for rough work and signature purposes.
No admit cards will be sent to the candidates via post and they are themselves responsible for downloading the same. A candidate will not be allowed to sit for the examination if they do not hold the admit card. They must go through instructions that are given on the rear page of the e-admit card. Upon qualifying for the online AFCAT 02/2021 written examination, candidates will be called for the psychological test (day 1) followed by Document verification, group tests and interview.
