Zilla Parishad, Amritsar is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of IT Manager, APO, IT Assistant, Technical Assistant and GRS (Administrative Assistant). The official notification in this regard is released on the official website, amritsar.nic.in. The recruitment to the announced posts is on contractual basis under the MGNREGA scheme. The conducting body has announced a total of 82 vacancies for the said posts. Eligible candidates can submit their applications by August 21, 2020.
Out of the total vacancies, 01 is announced for IT Manager, 02 are announced for APO, 02 are announced for IT Assistant, 13 are announced o Technical Assistant and 64 vacancies are announced for GRS (Administrative Assistant). Candidates who are selected as IT Manager receives a monthly salary of Rs. 21,000/-, APO gets Rs. 20,000/-, IT Assistant gets Rs. 11,000/-, Technical Assistant gets Rs. 15,000/- plus Rs. 900 as Travel allowance and GRS (Administrative Assistant) gets Rs. 8500 plus Rs. 900 as Travel allowance.
To apply, the candidate’s age should be between the age limit of 18 years to 37 years. Candidates must have M. Tech/ B. Tech (Computer) MCA/ BSc (IT) with one year experience in relevant fields. They must be proficient in MS Office, use of the internet and basic programming skills. To apply for the APO post, candidates must have graduation/ post-graduation with computer skill. Those are retired as DDPO/ BDPO/ ADO and have computer skills are also eligible for APO post. Aspirants intending to apply for IT Assistant must have BCA/ B. Tech/ MCA or equivalent. Moreover, candidates must be proficient in MS Office, use of the internet, basic programming skills and have one year work experience. Aspirants who have Diploma/ Degree in Civil engineering and are proficient in the computer are eligible for Technical Assistant post. Those who are retired as JE/AE/ SDO of govt/ Semi Govt department (Civil works) are also eligible. 10+2 pass candidates who have Data Entry Skills can apply for GRS (Administrative Assistant).
The application process of these posts is conducted through an offline process only. Eligible and interested candidates have to download the application form from amritsar.nic.in. They can get the form under the notice > recruitment > Recruitment on contractual basis under MGNREGA scheme for District Amritsar. The application form is available with the official notification only. The filled-in application form should reach the District Employment and Business Bureau, District Administrative Complex, District Courts, Amritsar as per the specified date. Along with the form, candidates also have to submit the application fee. General category candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- whereas SC/ ST candidates have to Rs. 100/- as the application fee. The fee should be paid through demand draft in the name of Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad at Amritsar.
