Cochin Shipyard Limited, a Mini Ratna under Ministry of Shipping, has announced a total of 471 vacancies for the Workmen post. Candidates can submit their forms for all the announced posts on or before August 20, 2020. The online applications can be submitted for the following posts, Sheet Metal Worker, Welder, Fitter, Mechanic Diesel, Fitter pipe/ Plumber, Painter Electrician, Crane Operator, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Shipwright Wood/ Carpenter, Machinist, Auto Elctronian, Scaffolder, Aerial Work Platform Operator, Semi Skilled Rigger, Serang, General Worker (Canteen) and Cook (Guest House). Recruitment to all these posts is on contractual basis.
CSL has rescheduled the dates of application form submission. CSL has already activated the online application link to the announced posts from August 05, 2020, onwards. Candidates can now submit their forms for all the announced posts on or before August 20, 2020. Online application link for the same is available on the website. Earlier, Cochin Shipyard has published a notification indicating the online application form start and end date. The application link for the announced posts was supposed to start from August 01, 2020, onwards and end on August 10, 2020, for General worker and Cook. For other posts, the online application link was about to activate from August 03, 2020, to August 20, 2020. However, Cochin Shipyard has re-scheduled the dates for the online application form submission. Candidates can now submit their forms from August 05, 2020, to August 20, 2020, for all the announced posts. As per the official notification, the conducting body has decided to alter the dates due to some administrative reasons.
To submit the online application form for the said posts, candidates must visit the official website, cochinshipyard.com. They can also visit the direct link to submit the CSL recruitment application form, csl.cochinshipyard.com. Candidates are advised to register themselves first by providing the complete name and email address. Also, aspirants have to choose the username and password and keep these details save till the recruitment process ends. Hereafter, candidates can complete their profile by providing information such as Personal Data, educational qualification, work experience, age, mobile number, category and other related details. Candidates also have to upload scanned images of the photograph (“.jpg” format), relevant certificates (“.jpg” format), resume (“.pdf or .doc” format) and other documents (“.pdf or .doc” format).
After the registration and completion of profile, candidates can proceed to apply for the particular post they are eligible for. Candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Person with Disability (PWD) are exempted from the application fee submission.
