XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2022 response sheet today, on January 3, 2022. The response sheet has been released online, at xatonline.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam held yesterday i.e. January 2, 2022, can now login at the login page, and access their question paper and responses.
At the time of first running this story, XLRI has not made any separate announcement at xatonline.in regarding this. However, multiple candidates have confirmed that they are able to see their response sheets in the login. It is expected, that very soon, XLRI will publish notification and also tell how to submit objection on response sheet.

Candidates need to access the login link at xatonline.in. The direct link is xatonline.in. Here, when one clicks on “login” link, a pop up login form opens.
XAT Response Sheet 2022 – How to download?
The steps to check and download the response sheet are as follows:
Step-1: Go to xatonline.in.
Step-2: Click “Login”.
Step-3: Now enter email id, password, and click login.
Step-4: Once entered dashboard, locate the response sheet link or tab and click it.
The purpose of issuing response sheet is to create transparency in the examination. XAT being a computer based test, candidates mark their answers on the system assigned to them at the center. In the early days of CBTs, candidates used to complain that the answers they marked must not have been stored in the exam and thus they got low marks (not necessarily in XAT, but in CBT exams when they just took off in India). In offline exams, candidates used to get copies of their omr sheets. As a result, exam conducting bodies of CBT exams started giving response sheets so that candidates get a window to raise objections, if any, if they feel that any answer was entered incorrectly. XAT response sheets are also released with this logic.
Last year XLRI had released the response sheet two days after the exam. Hence this year it was being expected that the response sheet for XAT 2022 will be issued on or around January 4, 2022. However today’s sudden issuance of the response sheets comes as a pleasant surprise.
What next?
First of all XLRI will give the dates for raising objection in response sheet. Then, XLRI will release the XAT 2022 answer key. After that, result will be declared.
If today’s early release of response sheets is a sign, then it can be expected that the result of XAT exam could be announced by mid-month. Even though officially it is announced that the result of XAT 2022 will be declared on January 31, 2022.
