Women and Child Development Department, Gujarat, is recruiting female candidates for the vacant posts of Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker. WCD Department Gujarat has announced the recruitment for Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper under the Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) project. Out of the total 403 vacancies, 167 vacancies are out for Anganwadi Worker and 236 are out for Anganwadi Helper.
The aforementioned posts are available only for the local female candidates of Bhavnagar district of the state Gujarat. Those who wish to apply for Anganwadi Helper post should have passed 10th class. Candidates who have passed 12th standard are eligible to submit their forms against the vacancies out for Anganwadi Worker post. Aspirants who are more qualified than the educational qualification mentioned in the notification can also submit their forms.
Other than the educational qualifications, aspirants have to follow the specified age limit as well. Candidates should have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years as on the last date of the application. Moreover, the upper age of candidates should not be more than that of 33 years.
The application form is available on the official website of the WCD Department, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. To get the link to apply only aspirants shall visit the website and tap on the ‘recruitment’ tab. Hereafter, they can get the ‘apply’ link. After clicking on it, candidates have to navigate to the “Advertisement for the post of AWW/AWH–BHAVNAGAR” section and tap on ‘apply’ button. Before that, aspirants are suggested to read the eligibility and other details by clicking on ‘pdf’ and ‘details’ button.
While registering aspirants need to provide all the details as per the certificates and mark sheets. Aspirants have to be ready with the following documents – date of birth, category, educational qualification information, scanned photograph and signature, date of birth proof, residential address proof, affidavit of Rs. 100/- and 10th and 12th pass certificate.
Selection to the said posts is determined by the educational qualification, experience and age of the candidates. A merit list based on those criteria is prepared by WCD department. Aspirants are shortlisted for these posts who are ranked higher in the merit list. This list can be downloaded from the official website, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in, soon after the selection criteria is over.
