Bihar B.Ed 2020 Admit Card Released; Check Pattern and Syllabus Here

LMNU has released the Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 Admit card on the official website for registered candidates appearing for the exam on September 22, 2020.

Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga has released the Bihar Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) 2020 Admit Card on the official website. The state-level examination is scheduled on September 22, 2020, in a pen-paper format. Students having a bachelor’s or master’s degree are eligible to apply for admission in this B.Ed programme. Eligible candidates are given the choice to apply for any of the three courses – B.Ed regular course, B.Ed distance mode and B. Ed Shiksha Shastri. The entrance test shall be conducted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and the selection shall be done solely on the basis of marks scored in the test.

The Bihar B.Ed 2020 entrance test is a two-hour examination conducted for registered candidates through offline mode. Candidates are expected to mark the answers in the OMR sheet provided at the exam centre. The question paper consists of a total of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each question is allotted 1 mark. These 120 questions are divided into five sections. They include General English Comprehension, General Hindi, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness and Teaching- Learning Environment in School. Candidates applying for B. Ed Shiksha Shastri course have to attempt the General Sanskrit Comprehension section questions instead of the English section.

The language sections in the question paper consist of 15 questions and carry a weightage of 15 marks each in the examination. Similarly, Logical and Analytical Reasoning and Teaching- Learning Environment in School consist of 25 questions and hold a weightage of 25 marks each in the entrance test. The General Awareness section holds the maximum weightage in the examination and consists of 40 questions. There is no negative marking in the examination and hence, candidates are advised to attempt the entire paper.

The syllabus for Bihar B.Ed entrance examination consists of topics and chapters related to the sections present in the exam paper. The General English Comprehension section consists of fill in the blanks, spelling errors, synonyms, idioms, antonyms, one-word substitution questions, etc. Similar questions are asked in Sanskrit and Hindi language sections The Logical and Analytical Reasoning section consists of Syllogism, Statement and Argument, Statement and Assumption, Action Statement and Conclusion, Deriving Conclusion, Assertion and Reason, Cause and Effect, Analytical Reasoning, etc. General awareness section consists of topics like History, Geography, Politics, General Science, Current Affairs, etc.

The Teaching- Learning Environment in School comprises of subjects like Management of physical resources in school, Teaching and learning process, Curricular and extra-curricular activities, Management of human resources, physical environment, etc. The Bihar B.Ed entrance examination was previously scheduled on July 19, 2020. However, due to the COVID crisis, the test was postponed and is now scheduled in September, 2020. Registered candidates can download the admit card for the entrance examination from the official website of the conducting body.
