Results for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 are expected to come out tomorrow, June 05, 2022, as claimed by several news reports. While an official announcement to confirm this speculation has not been made, individual scorecards might just be issued tomorrow. WBJEE board will be announcing the result through the online mode, on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. A unique rank will be assigned to each candidate who has successfully qualified the WBJEE 2022 entrance exam.
The state-level entrance test was held across the state on Sunday, April 30, 2022. Only recently, the provisional answer key was released on May 26, 2022. Candidates could raise objections against it on or before May 28, 2022, 11:59 pm.
WBJEE 2022 Result – tie breaking criteria
WBJEE 2022 information brochure explains the tie breaking rules for determining two types of merit rank – 1. Pharmacy merit Rank (PMR) and 2. General Merit List (GMR). While the former is restricted to Pharmacy aspirants, the latter is for candidates who wish to apply for all courses.

WBJEE 2022 Result – no rank list, only rank card
This year, the board will not be releasing the WBJEE 2022 rank list to “ensure confidentiality to each individual candidate”. However, each candidate will be issued a rank card which can be accessed on wbjeeb.nic.in.
Although rank card will be issued to all candidates, they may not mention the rank, if they have not qualified the test. Such aspirants will also not be eligible to apply for counselling. The counselling session will allow candidates above a specific cut-off rank or cut-off score.
The WBJEE 2022 result will include information such as rank achieved, overall marks scored, score in each paper (paper I – Mathematics and paper II – Physics and Chemistry).
