The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has concluded the much-coveted WBJEE 2022 entrance exam today, i.e. April 30, 2022. Candidates had to appear for the exam over two shifts. While Paper I or Mathematics exam was conducted in the first shift, Paper II or Physics and Chemistry exams were held in the second shift. The first shift took place from 11 AM to 1 PM and the second shift was scheduled from 2 PM to 4 PM. WBJEE 2022 has been conducted for admission to the undergraduate courses in engineering/technology, pharmacy and architecture.
With the conclusion of the exam, several coaching centres have started publishing the answer keys along with question paper solutions. One such website is ‘Pathfinder’ which has also released the answer keys for the exam. WBJEE 2022 Answer key by Pathfinder
Candidates must note that the answer keys for Mathematics or Paper I of the exam have been released on the official website – pathfinder.edu.in so far. The remaining one for Paper II or Physics and Chemistry is expected to be released soon. To know how to download the answer keys, follow the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the official website of Pathfinder at pathfinder.edu.in
Step 2- On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Now’ button under ‘Answer Key & Solutions WBJEE 2022’
Step 3- Now, go to the table and click on the ‘View’ button below the ‘Key Answer’ column
Step 4- Enter name, phone number and WBJEE 2022 roll number
Step 5- Click on the ‘Submit Query’ button to access the answer key.

Marking Scheme
A total of 75 questions were asked for a total of 100 marks were asked in Mathematics or Paper I. These questions were also divided into three categories. While the first category comprised 50 questions, the second and the third categories had 15 and 10 questions, respectively.
From Physics and Chemistry, 40 questions each were asked in the two sections. Paper II also had three categories. While the first category comprised 30 questions, the second and the third categories had 05 and 05 questions, respectively.
Note that there will be a 25% negative marking for first and second category questions. Correct responses in category 1 will yield 01 marks. On the other hand, the correct answers for categories 2 and 3 will be given 02 marks.
