WBBPE Recruitment 2021: 16500 Vacancy For Primary Teacher; Details Here

West Bengal Board of Primary Education will conduct interview of qualified applicants to fill up 16500 vacancies for Primary teachers in the state

West Bengal Board of Primary Education has published an official notification for recruitment of 16500 Primary Teachers in 2021. WBBPE is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up vacancies for the post of Assistant Teacher in various Govt. Aided/Sponsored Primary/Junior Basic Schools. The notification is available at the official website i.e. wbbpe.org. Eligible and intending candidates can apply online at the website till January 06, 2021. Selection of eligible applicants is to be done through interview scheduled to be held from January 10 to 17, 2021.

The complete details of the recruitment is indicated in the official notification released by WBBPE. Aspirants can download the same by clicking on the direct link provided here. Post selection, the finally shortlisted candidates are to be appointed at the positions for a Basic Pay of Rs 28990. In addition, candidates are entitled to receive DA as well as HRA at the rate of 12% of the basic salary as well as MA.

WBBPE Recruitment 2021: 16500 Vacancy For Primary Teacher Official Notification

Candidates must be suitably qualified in order to apply. In terms of age, all applicants must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old as on January 01, 2020, in order to apply. However, there are relaxations on the upper age limit as per government norms in vogue for candidates belonging to special reserved categories.

Applicants must be an Indian citizen holding the minimum educational and training qualification as specified by the National Council for Teacher Education. In addition, applicants must have appeared and passed in the TET 2014 examination conducted by the WB Board of Primary Education. Candidates must be able to read, write and speak in the language related to the medium of the schools for which one is applying.

In addition to the above, one must also fulfil certain other conditions. One must have passed in the specific language as the first or second language at Class 12 or equivalent level (except for Santhali). For Santhali medium schools, proficiency in the language is enough but it is not obligatory to have passed in the language. Candidates must have studied Mathematics and English as subjects at the Madhyamik (Class 10) level. 10% of the vacancies are reserved for para teachers, although, the eligibility criteria for such teachers also remains the same.

Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done, initially through scrutiny of applications for shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates are to be called for interview. Details of the interview such as venue, date and timings are to be intimated in due course of time to the shortlisted candidates.

The application process is conducted only online at the official website. Eligible and intending applicants must pay a fee of Rs 200 (Rs 50 for SC/ST and PH) in order to apply. Complete procedure to fill up the application form can be availed from the official websites.
