Union Public Service Commission has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the final interview stage of Engineering Services Examination 2020. Those who qualified in the Main exam held on October 18, 2020, have to fill up the DAF now to appear in the Personality Tests. UPSC has released the DAF at the official website i.e. upsconline.nic.in. Only those who were shortlisted in the merit list of the Main exam declared on December 11, 2020, can fill-up the form to appear in the final selection stage. UPSC ESE 2020 DAF for interview stage can be filled up from December 24, 2020, to January 05, 2021, till 06.00 PM at the aforementioned website only.
UPSC conducts the Engineering Services Exam once a year for selection of eligible candidates for appointment into Engineering Services of the Central Government as Group A & B Officers. The selection process consist of a Preliminary exam, followed by a Main exam after which, qualifiers are shortlisted for final appointment through document verification and Personality Test. It may be noted that only those qualified in the Main exam are eligible to appear on the Personality Test.
In accordance to the Rules of Engineering Services Examination 2020, those who qualify through the Main exam have to separately fill up the Detailed Application Form available now at the official website till the 5th of January 2021. Detailed instructions and other information related to how to fill up the DAF can also be found on the official website. One must register at the website before they can fill up the DAF for the ESE 2020 interview stage. Candidates also have to upload scanned copies of all original supporting documents. Those who fail to submit the DAF before the last date are liable to get their candidature cancelled.
UPSC is to inform the detailed schedule of the interview stage in due course og time at the official website. Candidates are to be intimated the exact date of the Personality Test of ESE 2020 separately through call letters. In addition, roll-number wise interview schedule is also to be published at the website of UPSC.
Candidates are not allowed to request for any change in the date and time of the interview. UPSC is to upload the marksheets of candidates who do not qualify the official website. This is to be done after the publication of the final merit lists online. The mark sheets are deemed to remain on the website for 20 days only.
To fill up the DAF, candidates must visit the website and click on “DAF for Various Exams of UPSC“. There after, one can click on the direct link to open the application form. Click on the exam name to proceed. After this, candidates must enter their Roll Number and Password in order to login and fill up the DAF.
