VITEEE 2021 is scheduled to be held on May 28, 29 and 31, 2021.

VIT already conducted AI proctored mock tests and now, the human proctored mock tests are being conducted. The purpose of these mock tests is to allow candidates a chance to get acquainted with the new exam mode. The remote proctored exam is being held this year owing to the pandemic situation in India.

Those who have booked their test slot beforehand can take the test as per their slot on the website viteee.codetantra.com/login.jsp. A detailed video explaining the procedure to take the mock tests is also made available by the Institute for the convenience of students in taking the test. Candidates may note that a primary device (computer) and secondary device (android/iOS mobile with front camera) is required to take the test. Both devices must be connected to the internet as per specifications laid down by the VIT.

Once candidates have opened the link as indicated (in bold & italics) above, they have to login to take the test. Candidates must enter login details correctly and they will be able to see their admit card. Scrolling down, candidates will come across the links for the mock test as per available slots. Candidates have to click on the Take Test button and they are redirected to a page to take the test. Here, candidates have to click on Open Test to take the test using a laptop or Third Eye to take the test using the secondary device.

Candidates have to download the Codetantra Secure Exam App from the website and install it on their device. Once this is done, candidates can go back to the browser and launch the application. Once the application is open and candidates have clicked on take the test, they have to conduct a series of environment checks including audio/video check and click on Proceed to the test. It may be noted that after proceeding, candidates have to upload/capture an ID proof.

The human proctor details are displayed and candidates are prompted to login using the secondary device i.e., the third eye. The mobile device must be positioned on the table/desk in a manner that the proctor is able to see both hand of the candidate. The Start Test option is unblocked on the Primary Device once the Secondary Device has been set up.
