Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is all set to conduct the KIITEE 221 Exam. The Remote Proctored Exam will take place on May 25, 26, and 27 2021. The call letters for the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE) are already issued online for those who have completed slot booking.

Candidates who are appearing for the entrance exam have to follow Remote Proctored Test Guidelines to take the examination. These guidelines include some technical instructions, physical specifications and exam requirements.

To take the KIITEE 2021 Exam, candidates should have any one of the devices – Computer/ Laptop/ Mobile Phone. These devices should be connected with a good internet connection and have a webcam. The internet speed should be 1 MBPS so that Remote Proctor works properly. Also, ensure that there is at least 2 GB of data for live streaming.

The computer and laptop that candidates will be using must have Pentium IV / Dual-core with 1GB RAM or higher. It should also have an 80 GB HDD or higher. Other requirements are a 15″ colour monitor, keyboard, mouse, Microsoft Windows 7 and above, Antivirus and Google Chrome.

Candidates who do not have a laptop/ computer can take the test through a 4G mobile set (Android only). It should have Google Chrome in it to run the exam link. The handset should be connected to a good internet connection that allows Remote Proctor to function properly.

Other than these, candidates should take the examination in a quiet place where there are no external disturbances. The room should be isolated and only candidates should be there in the room. Place the Computer in such a place that the back is facing the wall. Ensure that there are no devices in the vicinity.

Ensure proper lighting during the examination. Aspirants’ faces should be clearly visible on the camera. They can also place their devices on a table/ desk. There should be any prohibited objects such as papers, books, any other electronic devices, mobile phones, tablets or any other item on the desk.  Also, dress formally while appearing for the exam.

As the exam is taking place as online remote proctored, only one question will be displayed on the screen. Aspirants can’t go back to the question once they have answered it.

Invigilators will have a look at the room through a webcam where candidates will be taking examinations. Remote Proctor will send a warning message if a candidate is found doing anything suspicious and indulging in any malpractices while taking the exam.
