VITEEE 2021 Concludes Today, Check Post-Exam Processes – Cheaters Will Be Prosecuted

Post the VITEEE 2021 exam all students activities will be examined for malpractices. Result will be declared soon for only the eligible students at vit.ac.in.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University is holding the last set of VITEEE 2021 exams today, May 31, 2021, in 4 slots. The last slot will end at 6 pm today. In few days, the result for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam will be declared at vit.ac.in. VIT has yet not announced the exact date and time for the result announcement. However, it is expected that result will be announced in the 1st week of June or later. After the announcement of the result, the University will start the counselling and seat allotment process.

Once the exam is over, the candidates who face any doubt in any of the questions asked in the exam can send in an email regarding it. Aspirants can submit their concerns regarding issues in the question paper to [email protected] Session name, a few lines of the question, and the required clarification, along with the application number and name should be mentioned in the e-mail.

VIT has also announced that post-exam, all students activities recorded during the online proctored exams will be examined. All those found cheating or using any malpractice, like taking screenshots of the questions, sharing the questions, referring to books, and using other unfair means shall be punished legally.

Applicants who took screenshot / shared the screenshots of the questions will be considered a crime and can be legally punished.

Referring to books and taking help from any person will fall under malpractice, legal actions can be also taken against them. In addition to that, VIT has announced that details of the students found in cheating activities will be shared with UGC and AICTE. This can lead to termination of admission from VIT and blocking of admission to any other institute.

VITEEE 2021 is being held as an Online Remote Proctor Exam (ORPE). The exam started on May 28. All 4 slots were held successfully on the first day of the exam. However on the second day that is on May 29, 2021, there was some technical difficulty faced in slot 2B, hence this slot was rescheduled for May 30, 2021.

The score of VITEEE for result compilation is calculated based on the marking scheme. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark and no marks are deducted for negative marking. On the basis of the marks secured by the candidates, rank is awarded. The more marks secured by the candidate, the better is the rank. A candidate who secures maximum marks is awarded rank 1 and so on.

On the basis of the rank and availability of seats, candidates will be called for counselling. Selected candidates will get admission to VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati.
