Vellore Institute Of Technology has set a record in their placements this year. Microsoft has offered a cost to company (CTC) package of ₹39 lakh each to 14 students at VIT. This is a record placement offer made by any company at VIT.
Director of Placement and Training, VIT has represented the placement data saying that “Consultancy firm Deloitte recruited 191 students with a CTC of ₹6.5 lakh; followed by Wipro Design (160 offers with ₹6.5 lakh); TCS Digital (82 offers with CTC of ₹7 lakh) and Bank of America (108 offers with CTC of ₹6 lakh).”
With such a positive note and successful academic session, VIT University is all set for the next academic session. The admission to B.Tech Courses across all the VIT Campuses is now open for the academic session 2019-20. The VITEEE 2019 Registration is now open at the official website of VIT University, vit.ac.in.
VITEEE 2019 online application forms are available from October 28, 2018. The last date to apply is March 18, 2019. The application forms are available in the offline mode too.
To apply candidates have to register first at vit.ac.in and then login into their VITEEE 2019 account to fill and submit the online application form. To acquire the offline application form, candidates have to visit the designated post offices by VIT University.
The exam will be conducted in online mode, however the exact dates of exam are yet not announced, but it is know that the exam will be conducted on 2nd or 3rd week of April, 2019. The exam will be MCQ based, and will have question from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
VITEEE is a national level entrance exam, conducted by VIT each year for admission in their B.Tech courses offered at VIT Vellore Campus, VIT Chennai Campus, VIT Bhopal campus, and VIT Amaravati Campus. Qualifying VITEEE 2019 will lead to admission in any one of the 36 B.Tech courses as per the candidate’s choice.
