The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or UPTET 2022 is going to be held on January 23, 2022. As per sources, the admit cards for the test are expected to be released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) today, i.e. January 13. It was going to release yesterday, however, owing to certain reasons the delay was caused. Candidates who have registered for the test will now be able to download the admit cards from the official website – updeled.gov.in. For downloading the admit cards, candidates have to keep an eye on the official website to access the activated link.
Reportedly, the admit cards will be released after noon, today. Candidates should keep checking the website after 12 Noon to find the link. It must be noted that no admit card will be sent to the candidates via post.
UPTET 2022 is going to be conducted over two shifts. The examination for the primary level will be held in the first shift, i.e. from 10:00 AM to 12:30 Noon. Similarly, the examination for the upper primary level is going to be conducted in the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. To download the admit cards, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Visit updeled.gov.in and click on the ‘UPTET 2022 Admit Card’ link
Step 2- Candidates have to enter registration number, one-time password and captcha
Step 3- Click on the ‘Login’ button
Step 4- Follow the next few links and download the admit cards.
As per reports, to conduct the first shift, a total of 2532 exam centres have been set up in which 1291628 candidates will appear. On the other hand, the second shift will take place across 1733 centres which will accommodate 873553 candidates. The appearing candidates have been advised to keep 06 photocopies of the UPTET admit card 2022 with them.
Moreover, the candidates will also get the facility of free travel in the buses to appear for the exam. They have to produce the admit card when asked for it. A total of 22 centres from the first shift and 14 centres in the second shift have been reduced.
Previously, the UPTET examination was all set to be held on November 28, 2021, but the test was cancelled due to paper leakage. As a part of important instructions, the candidates have been advised to take their seats 30 minutes before the commencement of the respective shifts. They must carry an original photo identity proof along with the UPTET admit card 2022. One must also carry the original copy of the issued mark sheet of any semester issued by the concerned training institution.
