Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University has announced the result for UPSEE 2018. The entrance exam was held for both UG and PG Courses on April 29 and May 05-06, 2018. The candidates can check their result online at the official website of UPSEE 2018. As per the information brochure, the result was supposed to be announced by the first week of June 2018, however, it has been announced a bit early.
The candidates can check their result by visiting the official website at upsee.nic.in. Then click on the link for “UPSEE 2018 Results“. Next, enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth. Click on Sumit button and the result will appear on the screen.
The result for UPSEE 2018 has been announced for Paper 1 to 11. After the declaration of result, the exam conducting body will publish roll number wise list of candidates. It will consist off roll number, marks, and category of the selected candidates. Only those who will obtain 25% marks in the entrance test will be included in the merit list. Whereas, in case of SC/ST category, the candidates need to obtain only 20% marks.
The scorecard will consist of the details such as your name, Category as selected by you while applying for the exam roll number, application number, name of the programme you applied for, total marks obtained, rank obtained.
Now that the result has been announced, soon the exam conducting body will publish the schedule for UPSEE 2018 counseling. Only those whose name is included in the merit list will be eligible to take part in the counseling.
Earlier, the AKTU released the answer key for Paper 1 to 4 on April 30, 2018, at its official website. The candidates were given the opportunity to submit an objection, if there was any in the answer key until May 07, 2018.
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University every year. On the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, the candidates are offered admission in the First Year of B. Tech./B.Arch./B.Des./B.Pharm./ BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA/MBA(Integrated) /MCA/MCA (Integrated) and 2nd Year of B. Tech./B.Pharm./MCA (Lateral Entry).
This year, a total of 1,56,452 candidates appeared for the test, out of which, only 1,43,551 number of students managed to qualify it. In UPSEE 2018, Aditya Singh of Noida got the first position with 95.33% marks in B.Tech. Kartikey Singh of Ghaziabad got first place in B.Pharm and B.Arch.
Furthermore, the minister Ashutosh Tandon has announced that toppers of UPSEE 2018 will get laptops. The overall topper, girls topper, and SC-ST toppers will get laptops.
