On May 29, 2018, CBSE announced Class 10th Result 2018. In the remarkable turn of events, it was disclosed that there is not one but four toppers for CBSE Class 10th. Prakhar Mittal is from DPS Gurgaon. Rimzhim Agarwal belongs to R.P. Public School, Bijnor, Nandini Garg is from Shamli and has studied in Scottish INTL School, and Sreelakshmi G belongs to Cochin and persuaded class 10th from Bhavan’s Vidyalaya. Congratulation to all the toppers and those who qualified the examination.

The performance of girls is better this year, in comparison to boys. The pass percentage of boys is 85.32%, whereas, the girls have gotan upper hand by getting 88.76% pass percentage. The overall pass pass percentage of CBSE class 10th is 86.70%.

The same for Chennai is 97.37% and that for Ajmer is 91.86%. From Delhi region, 286660 candidates appeared for the examination and 225361 qualified the exam. This has lead to the total pass percentage of 78.62% for the Captial.

This year, more than 16 lakh students registered for CBSE Class 10th examination. Of these, 131493 have scored more than 90%. On the other hand, the number of students who scored more than 95% is 27476.

CBSE announced the result earlier than the due duration. It was expected that the Board will delay the result due to the informed irregularities but it did not happen. The students this year can check their result via cbseresult.nic.in, UMANG app, Microsoft SMS app, IVRS, SMS, and on Google.

The digitally signed marks sheets are available on DigiLocker. The candidates can download it from there and use it for further admission. Respective schools will also provide mark sheet and other certificate but it will be provided a little later on.

The students will now have to opt for Science, Arts, or Commerce stream. Choosing a stream is a tricky task for some students but just remember, opt for those subjects which you like to study. Do no force yourself to pursue a stream just because your friend is taking it or your relatives want you to. Listen to your heart, have a heartily talk with your parents and then choose those subjects that intrigue the most.

Students who do not wish to study further can opt for SSC MTS, Railway, etc recruitment. Getting a diploma is also an option for those candidates who do not wish to study class 11 and 12. Options are many, you just to find what you want to do. For that, do your research well and talk to few people in the respective filed. Now is the time to lay the stepping stone for future. All the best!. Also, comment your queries below.
