Union Public Service Commission National Defence Academy (UPSC NDA) 2021 exam is tomorrow, i.e. on April 18, 2021. Less than 24 hours are left and UPSC has yet not announced any official statement / notice regarding the postponement. Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the nation, candidates who have applied for NDA 2021 exam are demanding the exams be deferred.

The demand came after many exams, including CBSE board exams, have been cancelled / postponed in the country. NEET PG 2021 exam has also been postponed. India is registering 2 lakh COVID-19 cases daily for the past 2-3 days. #NDApostponed is trending on Twitter. Students have raised concerns like lockdown in many areas, restricted travel, curfew situations, etc. Even 1 day before the exam, aspirants are hoping for UPSC to postpone the exams.

However, to get official update,  candidates are advised to regularly keep checking the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, for the latest update.

Social media is filled with speculations and demands for the same.

With no official announcement yet from UPSC, students must get ready for the exam day tomorrow. The students must carry the admit card and all related documents to the center. Most importantly, candidates have to carry extra masks, wear one all the time, keep a personal hand sanitiser, and water bottle with them all the time. However, those who have weak immunity or are not feeling well can consider the option to drop this year.

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC at a national level. NDA qualified candidates are recruited for admission into Air Force and Army wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). UPSC NDA 2021 admit card has already been released by UPSC.at the official website upsc.gov.in.

Candidates can download NDA call letter 2021 using their Registration ID (RID)/roll number and date of birth. The admit card has important information about the candidate and the date, time, venue for the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates have to carry any government-issued photo identity card in original. Ensure to check the travel route and the commute to the exam centre. Candidates must also examine the lock restrictions in movement due to lockdown.

The examination will be conducted in offline mode across the country in various exam centers. The National Defence Academy exam will be conducted in two shifts- the first shift will begin at 10 am and the second shift will commence at 2 pm. There are two papers of the exam. One paper is on Mathematics and the other is on General Ability. The total time for the paper is 5 hours, and 2 hours and 30 minutes for each paper. Mathematics is of 300 marks and the General Ability Test is of 600 marks.
