Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Preliminary exam answer key 2021. The answer keys for UPSC Prelims 2021 were released on the official website of the commission, upsc.gov.in. The commission has released the answer keys for GS paper 1 and paper 2. Earlier, on May 30, 2022, the commission announced the UPSC final result 2021. As per that, a total of 685 candidates have been selected for various profiles, IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc. Earlier, the commission reported a total of 749 vacancies in different cadres and categories.
UPSC Prelims Answer Key 2021
The commission has conducted the UPSC Preliminary exam on October 10, 2021. However, the answer keys for GS paper 1 and paper 2 have been released now. The answer keys have been released in PDF format. As per the answer key of GS paper 1, question number 10 was dropped from the list. With that, the commission has only considered 99 questions to calculate the marks of the candidates. UPSC Final Result 2021
UPSC released the UPSC final result on May 30, 2022, on the official website. The commission has recommended the appointment of 685 candidates this year as per which 244 unreserved, 73 EWS, 203 OBC, 105 SC and 60 ST candidates for the civil service this year. Apart from this, the commission has maintained a consolidated reserve list of 120 candidates. The UPSC CSE scorecard shall be released 15 days after the release of the final results. With that, we can assume that the scorecard shall be released between June 14 to 16, 2022.
UPSC 2021 Toppers
Reports suggest that around 11 lakhs students have applied for the examination out of which merely 685 were selected. This year, the top three UPSC CSE toppers are female. The names of all the UPSC 2021 toppers can be checked in the space below:
