Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the IES/ISS 2021 exam notification today i.e., April 07, 2021, on the official website upsc.gov.in. The notification is regarding the registration for two exams – Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Indian Economic Service (IES) 2021. Registration for both the exams have started today and eligible candidates can apply for ISS or IES 2021 on the website upsconline.nic.in. The deadline to do so is April 27, 2021, till 6:00 pm.
UPSC authorities released the online application form for both ISS and IES 2021 exams today, April 07, 2021 on the official website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can apply for the exams only on the prescribed website and not through any other online or offline sources. A detailed notification named “No.06/2021-IES/ISS” is uploaded on the authority’s website upsc.gov.in.
Interested and eligible candidates have to complete Part I and Part II of the registration process to apply for ISS or IES 2021. The deadline to do so is April 27, 2021. They must note that registration of Part I and Part II shall be considered valid only during the prescribed timeline.
The Part I registration process involves filling of basic candidate information. Candidate shall be instructed to check their details again and make the required changes before submitting the application form. Part II of the process includes steps such as filling the payment details, uploading relevant documents, selecting the examination centre and finally, agreeing to the exam declaration. Candidates who are exempted from registration fee payment are not needed to fill the payment details.
ISS or IES 2021 registration process involves the uploading of important documents. These include photograph, photo identity card document, signature, etc. All these documents must be uploaded in accordance with the format and dimensions prescribed by the authorities.
Candidates are expected to pay a fee of Rs.200 to register for the examination. However, those belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories as well as female candidates are exempted from fee payment. Aspirants must note that those with less than 40% disability shall be deemed eligible for fee exemption facility.
Registration fee can be paid through the online mode using options like Credit Card, Debit card and Net banking. Candidates can also pay their fee through the offline mode by depositing the money in the nearest SBI (State Bank of India) branch by cash.
After successfully submitting the application form, candidates shall receive an auto-generated email message on their registered email ID. In case they don’t receive this message, candidates must check whether they have successfully completed Part II of the application process. All these formalities must be completed before April 27, 2021, 6:00 pm.
