Union Public Service Commission has announced NDA 1 Result 2018 at upsc.gov.in, today i.e. on June 15, 2018. The examination was held on April 22, 2018, and the result for the same was initially expected in the month of July 2018. But the results have been declared early. The candidates who have qualified UPSC NDA 1 2018, will now be called for the SSB ( Service Selection Board) round. The result is available in a PDF format which contains the roll number of the selected candidates.
To check the result candidates have to visit the official website and find the result link. thereafter they need to locate the PDF file and click on the download link. the PDF file will have the roll numbers of the selected candidates.
What after the Result?
Now after the result candidates have to register for SSB Interview rounds at joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks. The successful candidates would then be allotted Selection Centres and dates, of SSB interview which shall be communicated on the registered e-mail ID. Any candidate who has already registered earlier on the site will not be required to do so.
At the center, candidates have to submit original certificates of Age and Educational Qualification to respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs) during the SSB interview. Thus, all the documents in original must be carried at the interview center.
UPSC will now call the qualified Candidates for Interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for Admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy and for the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). there are two rounds of interview. Day 1 includes verbal and non-verbal intelligence test and then a 4-day long interview round is conducted for the candidates selected on Day 1 of the interview.
On the basis of the total marks secured by candidates in the Written Examination as well as in the Services Selection Board (SSB) Tests, the qualified candidates will then be placed in a single combined list. This will be the final result, which will also be published over the official website. As per the vacancies available and the eligibility norms, candidates will be eligible for admission to the Army, Navy, Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy.
