UPSC CDS (II) 2021: Last-minute preparation tips

With merely 3 weeks left for the UPSC CDS (II) 2021 examination, here are some last-minute tips to follow to ace the exam –

Tip 1: Read a National English newspaper every day in the morning for vocabulary improvement. Suggested newspapers include The HIndu, Indian Express, The Economic Times, etc. Reading one newspaper daily is sufficient.

Tip 2: For grammar practice, rather than just mugging up the concepts, try to practice 10 or 20-minute tests every day. These are easily available online, free of cost.

Tip 3: In the case of General Knowledge, watch UPSC-specific YouTube videos that discuss all the current affairs relevant to the recruitment exam. One can also refer to monthly compilations released by coaching institutes online. Even reading a newspaper daily can help understand what is currently going on in the country.

Tip 4: For Mathematics, the best way to revise is by listing down the important formulae and revising them. The key to revising them is by recollecting how they were derived or how they are used.
