Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has today, March 14, 2022, released the admit cards for the CDS 2022 examination. Admit cards have been issued through the online mode, on the official website upsc.gov.in. All candidates who have registered for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2022 examination can download their admit cards from today onwards. If possible, they must take a printout of the document, well-in advance before the exam.
UPSC CDS 2022 Admit Card & Exam Date
The UPSC CDS 2022 examination is all set to be conducted on April 10, 2022. The recruitment exam will be held through the OMR-based pen-and-paper mode, at selected centres across the country. To attend the exam, candidates need to carry their admit cards to the allotted exam centre. Admit cards are available for download, on the official website upsc.gov.in, and UPSC’s recruitment portal at upsconline.gov.in.
Candidates need to access the “What’s New” section and click on the link attached to the words “e – Admit Card: Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2022”. A new page will open displaying the exam name and download link. Candidates must choose the “Click Here” option followed by clicking on the same option. They are advised to read the instructions carefully before choosing the login credentials (Registration ID or Roll Number).
In the final step, candidates must key in the required credentials and submit them to access the admit card. They must take a print-out of the document on or before the UPSC CDS 2022 exam.

UPSC CDS 2022 Syllabus
The UPSC CDS 2022 examination will cover subjects like English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Following are the topics to study in each subject –
English: Understanding of language and workmanlike vocabulary
General Knowledge: Current events, everyday observations in the scientific world, History of India, Geography
Current Affairs: Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics
UPSC CDS 2022 Do’s and Don’ts
Following are the do’s for the UPSC CDS 2022 examination –
# Aspirants are permitted to carry a clipboard/hardboard and high-quality black ball pen to the exam centre in addition to the required documents (admit card hardcopy, valid photo-ID)
# They must keep the answer sheet in good condition without unnecessary folding, tearing or marks of the ballpoint pen.
Additionally, mentioned below are the don’ts for the recruitment exam –
# Candidates must not carry mobile phones, pager or any electronic or storage device to the exam centre. Even study material, pages, rulers, calculators, etc are not permitted.
# It is also not wise to carry any expensive item to the exam centre as there is no assurance of its safe-keeping.
