Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has published the dates for the main examination for the post of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer (RO ARO) 2021. As per the official notification released on the UPPSC website, the main examination is set to take place on April 24, 25 and 26, 2022. The exams will be conducted in two shifts, shift one from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and shift two from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Following that, other papers to be conducted in the second shift will be organized from 4:30 pm to 5 pm. The preliminary examination for the post was held on December 5, 2021, and results for the same were declared on January 30, 2022.

RO ARO Paper-wise exam schedule
The main exam consists of 4 papers conducted over three days for a total of 400 marks. The first day entails two papers General studies, General Hindi & Drafting, and General Vocabulary. General studies will be conducted in shift 1, while General Hindi and Vocabulary are scheduled for shift 2. The final paper i.e. Hindi Essay will be conducted on the second day of the first shift.
Exam Pattern
The General studies paper consists of 120 questions carrying one mark each. General Hindi & Drafting is the part 1 of the second paper which is conducted over 2.5 hours and consists of 100 questions each carrying 1 mark. The second part is an objective paper on general vocabulary for half-hour for 60 marks with five questions each carrying 6 marks. The final paper is Hindi Essay which is for 120 marks to be completed in a duration of three hours.
Vacancy Details
A total of 4830 students are preparing to take the main exams which will be held this month, as this number of candidates had qualified the preliminary round. The candidates that clear the mains examination will be called for the next stage of recruitment which is the personal interview. The UPPSC has notified that the total number of vacancies for the posts is 337, out of which 228 vacancies will be filled through general recruitment and the remaining 109 will be filled through special recruitment.
