The CUET UG 2026 Exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 11 to May 31, 2026 in computer-based test (CBT) mode across India. Lakhs of candidates will appear for the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) for admission to Central, State, Deemed, and Private Universities participating in CUET. The CUET UG 2026 admit card will be released around May 8, 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in.

The CUET UG 2026 Exam will be held in multiple shifts daily, with each subject paper of 60 minutes’ duration. The marking scheme awards +5 for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer. Each test paper consists of 50 compulsory questions for a total of 250 marks. Candidates can already check their CUET UG 2026 city intimation slip on the official portal.

⏰ May 1, 2026: The CUET UG 2026 Exam is just 10 days away. NTA has already released the city intimation slip and is expected to release the admit card around May 8. Candidates should start practising mock tests, especially General Test and Domain Subjects, to manage time across the 60-minute slots.

⏰ April 29, 2026: NTA released the CUET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip at cuet.nta.nic.in. The slip mentions the exam city and tentative shift, but does not show the exact centre. The full address will be available on the admit card.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Reporting Time and Documents

  • Reach the exam centre at least 1.5 hours before the shift start time
  • Carry printed copy of CUET UG 2026 Admit Card
  • Carry one valid original photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence)
  • Carry one passport-size photograph (same as application form)
  • Self-declaration form duly filled and signed
  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, books, and any electronic gadgets are not allowed
  • Late entry is not permitted under any circumstances

Daily Paper Analysis (To Be Updated from May 11)

From May 11, 2026, this section will be updated daily after each shift with subject-wise paper analysis, difficulty level, and student feedback for the CUET UG 2026 Exam. Coaching institutes are expected to release subject-wise answer keys within hours of each paper.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Answer Key & Result

The provisional CUET UG 2026 answer key is expected to be released by NTA within 2–3 weeks of the last exam date. Candidates can challenge questions during the objection window by paying ₹200 per question. The CUET UG 2026 result is expected in late June or early July 2026. Top scorers can apply to participating universities including DU, JNU, BHU, Jamia, Allahabad University and 250+ others.
