Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPPSC) has released the notification of the UPPSC AE 2021 exam. A short notice of the UPPSC Assistant Engineer 2021 exam has been released through major dailies while the detailed advertisement and online application form are also scheduled to be published on the official website i.e., uppsc.up.nic.in today.
UPPSC AE or UPPSC State Engineering Service Exam is conducted by the Public Service Commission in Praygraj to fill up vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer in various departments of the UP State Government. This year, there are a total of 281 vacancies to be filled up.

UPPSC AE Application Form 2021 is releasing today i.e. on August 13, 2021, on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date of submission of the online application form for the UPPSC Assistant Engineer 2021 exam is September 13, 2021. However, applicants have to pay the application fees online by September 10, 2021. Applications for the UPPSC AE 2021 exam can be submitted online on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in only.
As per the short notice released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, candidates will be able to check the complete details of the UPPSC AE 2021 exam including application procedure, fee payment options, proforma for caste certificates, syllabus and exam pattern, districts of exam centres, reservation details, age relaxation details etc. in the official detailed advertisement on the website of UPPSC. Aspirants are advised to go through the detailed advertisement carefully before proceeding to apply for the exam.
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age as of July 01, 2021, in order to apply for the UPPSC AE 2021 exam. The maximum permissible age limit is 40 years. In other words, candidates must have been born between July 02, 1981, and July 01, 2000, in order to apply for the exam. Relaxations on the upper age limit will be available for candidates belonging to special reserved categories.
Aspiring candidates are advised to remain vigilant on the official website i.e., uppsc.up.nic.in to start applying for the exam from today as soon as the application form and detailed advertisement is updated. Last year the exam was conducted for two papers, each carrying 125 MCQ type questions and of 150 minutes duration. Paper 1 is based on General Hindi and the concerned subject of Engineering while Paper 2 is based on General Studies and concerned subject of Engineering. Each question carries 3 marks while incorrect answers are penalised by deducting 0.33 marks.
