UPPSC AE 2022 Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme
The UPPSC AE 2022 written exam comprises of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The former covered subjects like General Hindi and Concerned Engineering Subject: Paper 1 (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical). The latter was based on General Studies and Concerned Engineering Subject: Paper 2 (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical).
Each paper was held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, covering 125 questions each for a total of 375 marks. So, each question was allotted 3 marks. Incorrect answer would result in deduction of 1 mark while 0 marks would be allotted to unanswered questions. Thus, the marking scheme is –
Total marks = (3 x No. of Correct Answers) – (1 x No. of Incorrect Answers)
Although the actual figure may differ from the UPPSC AE 2022 tentative score, it will help a candidate decide his/her chances of qualifying for the next stage.
